Cup stem

The cup stopper is not there just for fun for the rabbits, but for many of us it performs an indispensable function during cup removal
We definitely recommend that you don't cut the stem right after you buy it. Try putting it in and taking it out first.
If you find that you don't need the stopper when removing it, or it bothers you a little during use, you can gradually cut it down.
Cutting is an irreversible process, so we recommend that you really test the cup properly.
The stem is beautifully soft and pliable due to its hollowness, so chances are you won't even know it's there.
